The Sony DSC-W170 Digital Camera is a 10.1 megapixel camera with a 5x optical zoom lens by Carl Zeiss. Like most Sony cameras, it boasts of technologies like Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Recognition and Smile Shutter.
With the Sony Bionz processing engine you get more data even in photos taken in backlit environments. The Face detection technology allows you to get sharper and more detailed photos with more natural skin tones and lesser facial glares. The Shutter Smile feature on the other hand provides you those memorable shots from kids at the right moment.
This camera also alows you to capture VGA audio and video clips. It is also equipped with pre-set scene modes for landscape, twilight, beach and high sensitive shots.
