If you are looking for an entry camera that is not only user friendly but takes good pictures as well then Fuji FinePix J10 is worth a try. This is an 8.2 megapixel camera which is great for those who just want to point and click and do nothing much with their cameras because it does not have the sophisticated features of most modern cameras aside from a simple menu system that will help you get good images.
The Fuji FinePix J10 is a compact camera which is just the size of your credit card and weighs 4.5 ounces. First time camera users would love the easy to use but very basic features of the digicam. It has a 2.5 inch LCD screen that’s just enough for shooting previews. Beside the screen is the very friendly menu button where you can access the full menu system.
If you want maximum use of the 15 scene modes then better read the manual for an explanation of each setting. The Fuji FinePix J10 might be an entry level camera but it has very good image stabilization you can get good shots even when taking photos of moving objects like vehicles. You can also make full use of the scene modes like baby mode for more natural baby colors and the text mode for shooting documents.
This camera can also capture video clips, the quality of which are average considering that this is a beginner’s camera. No zoom feature for video clips though so better zoom in on your subject before you get your clips. It has a minimal internal memory of 8MB only so better get more storage space using SHDC memory cards, SD or xD-Picture Cards.
