Sony Alpha A350
The Sony Alpha A350 is a biggie not merely in size but mostly in features. It has a 14.2 megapixel resolution which is far greater than the 10.2 megapixel resolution of the Alpha A300. The camera is at par with the other dSLRs and can even compete with remarkable features like the dust-shake system. You can also choose from a wide array of lenses as it is compatible with Minolta A-type and Sony mount lenses,
The launching of the two models namely Sony Alpha A350 and A300 were announced by Sony at the same time during the PMA. Both models are upgrades of the A200 and the A100 and this time with a focus acquisition that is 1.7 times faster than the older models.
Take note of the new pop-up flash of the Sony Alpha A350 and A300 which is common in most digital SLRs. This camera is also more “intelligent” and has an indicator to inform the user of the camera’s battery status instead of the old battery icon.
The camera is also always ready, thanks to the eye-start autofocus which makes sure the camera is ready (through the autofocus system) even before your eyes reach the viewfinder.
These digital cameras are cheaper when bought body only with the Sony Alpha A350 for $800. Shell out an extra $100 for a total of $900 if you want the 18-70 mm lens. If you have more then get the body with the 18-70mm lens and the 55-200mm lens for only $1,088.
