At $229.95, the Kodak EasyShare V1003 is a great buy that every hobbyist should have inside his pocket, literally. This 10 megapixel resolution camera with a 3x optical lens has a high ISO mode for good quality photos. The 2.5 inch LCD display allows you to frame your subject and get a good preview of your shot.

The 22 scene modes will help you get appropriate photos with specific settings like Close up, landscape, portrait,m sport, beach, snow, self portrait, flowers or even fireworks. The scene mode even includes provisions for text or document which allows you a clean shot of important papers.

The Kodak V1003 will help you make sure you do not get blurry photos thanks to the blurry picture warning feature. Usually, the one who owns the camera is left from the photos but with the 2 or 10 second self timer, you need not miss important shots anymore. It also allows you to make QuickTime movies at 30 frames per second.

This compact 7.2 megapixel digital camera by by Kodak is quite attractive and is available not only in smashing red but also in other attractive colors like blue, copper, pink, silver and black.

The Kodak EasyShare M763 has a 2.7 inch screen display that makes it easy to frame your subjects and to get photo previews given the fact that it does not have an optical viewfinder. Most hobbyists would prefer a viewfinder since it is the best option to take when the sun’s glare does not let your see the LCD image or if your battery is too weak to show a preview. However, this is a rare function foregone by most cameras.

Storage is not a problem because aside from a 10MB internal memory you can also use Multimedia cards. Get help from the 20 scene modes for those specialty shots even if you don’t know a thing about shutter speeds and apertures.

The M763’s face detection technology allows you clearer shots sicne it locates the faces and adjusts the fous automatically. It also allows you to capture video clips in different modes. Photos and videos can be easily stored and shared through the USB full speed connection which is rather slower than the other cameras usign the high speed connections but that’s fine as long as you are not in a hurry considering its very affordable price of $129.95..
