The 8.1 megapixel with a 3x optical zoom lens Nikon Coolpix S210 is pretty affordable at an average price of only $167. Unlike other digicams that comes in boring black, this Coolpix is too cool lookin at its aluminium body which comes in a variety of colors to choose from including plum (the one in photo), cool blue, brushed bronze and graphite black. It is super slim too at only about 3/4 inches so you can easily slid it in your breast pocket.
This is a slim camera with all the latest in Nikon technology including the In-Camera Red Eye Fix, D-Lighting and Face-Priority AF. However it does not have optical stabilization features which is fairly common among cameras in the same category nowadays and this is one feature the manufacturers seem to have have missed out on. However, photo blurs can still be reduced with the Electronic VR Image Stabilization technology. It has a 2.5 inches LCD display and an internal memory of 52MB with an option to upgrade using the microSD card.
