The Canon EOS 5D provides "full frame" digital SLR technology, built around a 12.8-megapixel CMOS sensor, which means that it covers the same area as a 35mm film frame.

This is an extremely high-end digital SLR from Canon, but the price is probably not affordable for people who just want to take quick pictures of the kids. The EOS 5D is equipped with all of the photographic controls and custom functions that are excellent for professional photographers. There are so many features that I can’t even list them all here. This camera is the best one to get if you’re new to digital photography, because it is very affordable, and extremely easy to use. It offers traditional Kodak features that we’ve come to expect, and to love. Plus, they have improved those features with this camera.
